I play quake live a lot, nowadays.. I reckon i'd be quite good at this. I worry it won't run smooth though, which is so important for a game like this

It's "sort of" new, in that I've been able to use that at least since I started my job in May.

Going to bump this thread as well to say that as Dave and I found out over the weekend Nexuiz received a massive update over the weekend - here's a video with the new features:

One feature I like is that LAN play is now in the core game, and not the DLC. Also, the demo is the full game, limited to 30 minutes play time. Per day. That's a pretty decent way of doing a demo I think

Also, a WTF video if you haven't seen the game at all yet:

The other thing to say is that the WTF Is... video was made in May, and since then there have been multiple patches. However, the best bet is to give it a go and see how you like it!
