Ladies and Gentlemen.

This is the official Breach17 games list. All these games will definitely be played at least once through the weekend.

We strongly encourage you to have all of these games installed and patched before the LAN.


Tournament Games

Yes it's just the first game. And yes, £40 for it is too much.

But the Demo will do just fine and would actually be better for us. The demo is limited to only one multiplayer level but it has all the weapons and tbh the one level they have is the best one of the lot.

Just the demo is perfect.

There have been one or two changes. Firstly, CoD4 was added to the list as it was an oversight on my part not to have it included in the first place.

Also, Hedgewars has been added. It's only a 100MB Freeware download so there's no reason not to use it.

Most importantly however, Bad Company 2 has been removed from the official list. The reason for this is that we always knew there is a lack of dedicated server software. EA want to restrict it to their selected re-sellers, which is fine. Trouble is, they have also excluded the ability to host listen servers on the LAN, so there is no LAN functionality available. Which unfortunately means that we can't support the game.

Sorry for the inconveniance.

cod 4 is still on the list, looks like sin may be making his return to breach for 17 after missing the last. just making sure nothings going to get in the way. :D

Hey all,

just a quick quesion regarding UT2k4. Other than the latest patch, do we need any map packs or are we just running standard maps?

You should apply the UT2k4 Mega Pack.

The Mega Pack includes all the maps, patches and I believe a no-cd fix as well.

Downloading from steam, already has all this installed.
