Not, anyway was thinking bout gathering a team for the 9V9 tournament called ETF2L, need to judge the level of intrest;

Highlander league is just pub players who want to test themselfs against others, catch? one class per person :p

Maximum of 14 player total so we can swap round but a minimum of 9 players. If there are not enough people for the 9V9 i shall consider going for the 6V6.

Interested;

Coob - Heavy, Scout(if badger cant)
Channy - Demo, scout(if badger cant)
Dex - Medic
Skull - Engineer, Pyro, multiclass
Hexxy - sniper
Piglet - soldier, pyro, demo
Grogers - pyro, sniper
Everlong - spy, medic

UNSURE; (please tell me ASAP)
Socks - heavy, scout
Dave - engineer


People i would like to get;


Badger - Scout
Snooty - spy
Nero - Spy
Husky - Engineer

Additional Information;

We shall need at least 10 people for the 9V9 to make sure there is always someone to play. Only another 3 people :p and 6/7 people more maximum ^^

Btw, breach has an ongoing IRC channel on QuakeNet - #breachlan - join up :D
Match server also easily do-able.
Tag is [BreachLAN], not BreachLAN - Just to clear it up

What page are you getting that list of 6 from by the way, it doesn't really make sense where it's from?


Also, I'm happy Pyro or Engi (tbh, most of the first 6 classes I would play XD)

The list shall be changed because of answers ^^ the list was for me to sign up to the team registration also i updated the list for the peoplez ^^

Looks good, as Skull says we can easily do a match server, but the current server ip is gandalf.pkservers.co.uk:21000, I'd also like to see us use IRC more :)

Hold the horses on just using the www.breachlan.co.uk link, do they specify anything in particular that the site needs to have?

Just because I've seen some leagues (ED namely) where you need to have certain features on the site for them to accept it. If this is a case, Dex and I can put something together in Wordpress or the like, and this would probably be at tf2.breachlan.co.uk, with links to the pub server, links to the breach website etc.

The Sign up literally just says "Homepage" although i am at this moment reading through the rules for the tournaments will edit if i come across anything that is worth noting, obviously after the team is together i will post the rules in a new thread for people to read.

Ok panic over :( there FAQ was for a different league :/ so :p looking into different leagues though :) sign up anyway so we can have a shot at the next one :)

Ok, awesome ^^ ill add both socks and ever's, there is no rush atm but give me a prod when either of you want to sign up to the website so i can add you guys to the official list :)

Righto, there is an open arena on enemy down this can consist of either;
1.
Default match size for Arena is 6v6,

3V3 - no medics, 1 class limit for all other classes
4V4 - no medics, 1 class limit for all other classes
5V5 - No medics, 1 class limit for all other classes
6V6 - 1 class limit for all classes
7V7 - 1 class limit for all classes
8V8 - 1 class limit for all classes

Maximum number of players per team is 8, though one side can drop 1 player below the stated amount (AKA arranged a 7V7 but one can t make it so its a 7V6)





edarena.cfg must be used for all matches

maps are played for 30 minutes / to a win limit of 12
everything is allowed exept "All unlockable weapons and taunts are allowed for all classes minus the Scout." < i presume this means the milkman

XAC will be optional for all players, if you do NOT use XAC you MUST record a
POV demo and keep it for 14 days after your match.

Officially we allow 1 pause per team of 3 minutes per map, the pause is only
allowed when a user lag crashed/lagged. The game can ONLY be paused at the end
of the round.

Is anyone interested in this~? and is this arena ladder more, or less interesting than the highlander league?

other info;

"enemy down is a system for meeting clans and arranging matches. it is divided into ladders and your clan can play against other clans of a similar skill level. ED does NOT have seasons like other leagues instead it is an ongoing comptition where clans can compete when they like, where they like and however often they like."

"You are able to challenge and play any clan in enemy down. points will only be awarded if the clans are playing an "official" match in the same ladder. you can also play "friendly" matches however these do not affect your ratings."

"clans can enter any ladder that has "open entry" (this is interesting due to the large numbers of leagues that enemy down host)
To gain entry into a "restricted" ladder they need to work their way to the top positions and request a promotion.

Clans can only play one league at a time, (not a ladder, ladders and leagues are diffrent!)

Righto! sign up to ETF2L then ^^ and ill add you too the clan, just need your username :eek: .

Also the ETF2L ladder match is up for signings, need at least 9 people to sign up, with tyr just another 2 i think

Wait, what?

Never realised this was done via Enemy Down - Should've pointed that one out sooner - Dex and I have both been Clan Admins within ED before now!

Awesome, i think at some point you did, but overall ETF2L was the better choice...

So you guys are the men to speak to for ED, and again anyone interested in the 6V6 one off night or the arena, personally i don't enjoy the arena as much as the normal CTF games :/ but would happily play for others.
