Dayz Server

Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen

BreachLAN has decided that we would run a Dayz game server for the community. All the relevent details are below on how to install the game etc.

For the steam version of Arma 2 operation arrowhead:

visit http://epochmod.com/a2dayzepoch.php and download the manual client install files once these have downloaded you need to unzip the files in to you operation arrowhead folder. The folder can be located with the following path.

steam/steamapps/common/arma2 operation arrowhead

once done you should see a new folder called @Dayz_Epoch

Now that this is done you can launch the game and under the expansion menu you click on the option that says dayz epoch 1.0.5.1 and activate it at this point it should ask you to restart the game.

Once the game has restarted you can now go to the multiplayer menu and at the bottom right corner you can see a button labeled REMOTE click on this and a window should open up asking you to type in an address and port.

The server details are as follows:

Address : sorth.breachlan.co.uk
port: 2302

you are now ready to go and kill some zombies and maybe the odd player here and there.

for the retail version of the operation arrowhead please register your game key with steam then follow the steps above. If you require any help getting started please do not hesitate to ask.

Here are the Rules For the server.

1. No killing of fellow survivors (unless you are nominated as the bandit)
2. No stealing etc from other survivors encampments.

Now for the fun part:

When people join the server you will be given one week to settle in and stockpile some goodies. After the first week myself and dex will nominate one survivor to become a bandit for the week.

Here are the rules for the Bandit:

1. You can only kill survivors who are roaming the map.
2. You are not allowed to enter player bases.
3. Any loot you gain from killing a survivor is yours to keep.


We hope you all enjoy playing on the BreachLAN server we will always try to keep it upto date and will also listen to any suggestions you may have on how to improve it.

also there are currently AI missions available in game that will randomly pop up on the map for survivors etc to complete for extra goodies and loot.
