A quick heads up form the Admin Crew guys & gals!

We have just confirmed a venue for the [DbC] events, which will be held in
Callander (a short drive from Stirling), and if all goes to plan, will take a
slightly differing format to the one adopted by most LAN groups in Scotland..
Instead of a major event every couple of months, we're aiming as follows - a
small (20-30man) event every week (you read it correctly) lasting for one day,
and a three day large (50-100man) LAN every month.
Ticket cost for the large events should remain as predicted in the ?25(ish)
range, so no major changes there, and all of the regular features will be
available (dedicated servers, tournaments with prizes, console corner, leechy
stuff, gigabit network, fast internet line). There is free parking within
walking distance of the venue, as well as take-aways and watering holes :D
As promised, we will be keeping you up to date on the forums, and look forward
to seeing you all at [DbC]LAN#1
Thank you all for your patience, "teh mayhem" will ensue shortly (September, if
all goes to plan!) :)

i won't attend if it crashes with breachlan (4 weeks either way)

also i expect alchohol to be provided by the lan staff

and the final question is how far away is raploch (big Mags terrotiry) the reason i ask this is due to the likelyhood of PC's being stolen or the old bill turning up

P.S good luck with weekly lans if they work then create a lan cafe

Yea shame you guys wont be coming down. their will be a "small" quota of drink supplied by the staff (over 18's only and all that guff)

Callander is 16miles away from Stirling, and a 8quid bus fare, so i dont think of Mags Haneys lot can afford the fare, and their is nowhere in Callander that sells Buckfast so they would die of dehydration or soberness before they got to the edge of the raploch

the idea of DbC is to become a LAN Cafe / pub / general cool place.

so get on the fourms and keep in contact for promotional discounts and clan/LAN deals

(ie 25% off 5+ Clan Members)
