Installing BF Badcompany 2 is being a chote!

Hi all,

just wondered if anyone else had problems installing Battlefield Bad Company 2 from the disc. I get the game installed but the patches are causing my PC to freeze and crash completely.

I'm currently DLing the latest patch outwith the game to try and update it from there but I don't hold much hope!

Any experiences?#

My experiance with it is that even though it has been out for at least six months it's still completely unplayable due to the constant crashing of the multipalyer.

Worthless.

It's all cool!

I installed the patch by DLing it externally and it is now working like a treat .. well apart from me not knowing wtf to do and where the feck the guys shooting at me are!!

Hax!!

Haaaaar!!

I can't wait to see them!!

If you have bought the expansion do you get to DL prior to launch or is it all post-release?

I've been special!!!

I bought a disc copy of BFBC2 then bought the steam version of Vietnam expansion - 1st doh!

I then found out that they are not compatible so I emailed Steam and had the cost of the game refunded to my account.

I then went on Play.com and ordered what I thought was BFBC2: Vietnam but actually ordered Battlefield: Vietnam or something too similar for me to notice while pished and buying stuff!! 2nd doh!

I then had to buy both BFBC2 and the Vietnam expansion on Steam to get to play the damn game!! mega-doh!!

Just thought I'd let you all know how special I am!

Extra Do'h for you.

You could of just bought the expansion from EAstore for the same price as steam and then just entred the code you get via e-mail into the game and got access to Vietnam straight away and without buying all again through steam.
