cheap ass basterds lol .. get down and buy one :D well worth it! remember its a mini computer!... anyway im realy getting it for £200 as i sold my old iPhone for 200 quid!

and im not paying the rip off contract price's which will make the phone over a grand at the end lol.

went into o2 today to see if they could upgrade my contract, but they said i have to wait until my current contract ends in December :S

Ye the iPhone 3G on PAYG comes with a years FREE unlimited date on 3G and selected wifi hot spots

Yeah right but I bet if you read the small print there's a Fair Use Policy limiting the amount you can download, there always is.

Anyway after buying my laptop I want to limit my big spends for a while :p

not unless you know the hack ;) .. but anyway you can pickup 3G modems on payg for 50 quid! which i now own , so i dont need to connect the iphone to a computer.

hack it and void your warranty. paying even more for something you already have.

When i was looking at phones last year, one of their selling points was that it had like 40gb a month limit on net access. I asked them if i could use it as a 3g modem and connect to my laptop. They said no. I say, how the hell am i supposed to use 40gb an a phone!!

There's not in the UK, i've looked. The closest app was removed by Apple from the iTunes store and was only valid for the us...

W00t just home with the iPhone3G :) .. let the fun times begin :)

50 quid for a pay as you go 3g modem from three. then topup for when you need some data! its easy! 10 quid for 1gb , £15 for 3gb and i think £25 for 7gb

I'll be having one too... but my contract runs out in APRIL/MAY so i got plenty time for the contract versions of the iphone to come down in price ;) By that time you will be able to get your FREE PAYG 3g iphone with Kellogs corn flakes lol I just have to make do with my Nokia N95 8GB untill then heh heh

Failing that, watch yer back madman..... i know where you stay muhahahahaha
