ipod screen fix

my ipod touch creen cracked after 3 years of faithful service
it still functions fine apart from the screen being cracked
does anyone know how much it is to get it fixed?
bearing in mind its not got warranty
(would have posted pic of it but camera been packed away for moving >.<)
i dropped it at work and it bounced off my work boots.....

Despite my dislike of apple, they do have really good customer after service. It might be worth seeing what sort of trade in deal you'd get in store for a new one. I know one of my friends got a replacement ipod for cheap after his daughters one packed up outside of warranty.
