By my own Dad...
Heres how:
My Dad got his new netbook so I spend most of yesterday updating it.
This morning, I get woken up to the words, "there's something wrong with netbook, says it infected..."
*Thinks in Heavy's voice: "How could this happen?"
I have a look and realise it picked up something called "Clean This", an anti-anti virus (I've crossed paths with it before...).
While looking around the net on how to remove, I get told that there was an email from a delivery firm (dhl, ups etc...) saying delivery at depot, open .zip to get details....
After 5-10 mins of the above pic, I found how get rid of much of it as possible.
I would of cleaned installed but no o/s discs came with the netbook...
Gets even better as what is today's date?
APRIL F***ING FOOLS DAY XD
So there you go guys, do not open any files in emails you have no idea who sent them (oh heck, even I've done it...).
