i'll be getting this through steam tomorrow (i hope) and be playing it once i get back from uni. i was thinking we could play the coop campaigns online and finish it before the day is up anyone interested, or else we can play versus and scavage all day

yeah i know, i was on saturday night cursing my internet connection and the lack of any decent dedicated servers for l4d2

ahaha, i just noticed you posted that on sat too, when i saw the reply this morn i assumed you had jsut replied today.

yeah trying to find a dedicated server was dire, end up on someones locally hosted game where our pings were about 120. best of a bad bunch.

Getting lucky and getting on a server seems to be a big deal atm. I have yet to play on a propper dedicated l4d2 server.

Good - now running a bare-metal hypervisor, linux is now running on it, gotta copy the old shiznat back onto it, try starting it up, hopefully have that sucka back in the rack for the weekend
