Hi Guys

I want one of these as my device now requires an "airplane" now and again as the 2.5g/3g drops out and I end up with no data! I'm sick of the lack of ram and now my markets refusing to download and install anything!

Can someone point me in the right direction for the following -

Removing sim lock
Available ROM's & Rooting

Also if you look at the T-Mobile website, you can sign up for the shared signal thing. If you loose T-Mobile signal, it will automatically switch to the Orange signal..

What are you running atm big guy?

1.6 cause 2.2 ended up being slightly too big even after repartioning my NAND with danger spl. There just wasn't enough room for the 2.2 kernel and I'd flash it, boot once, go to reboot and be stuck on the G1 screen until I flashed the ROM again :/

No it's fee to all T-Mobile and Orange customers. Its because of the merger. Eventually the signals will be completely merged but that's going to take some time.

Can I suggest you go for the Desire HD.
Easily the best phone on the market atm. It's even got quite a few iPhone fans turning their heads.
