Printer sharing

ok ive got a printer on a pc thats connected to a diff internet connection and i want to share the printer on it over the internet... when i use remote desktop connection it allows me to print from inside the server but not out ! even tho its set to connect to attached printers!

can i not do this way?

i even shared the printer and tryed connecting to it via ip address but it never worked. not sure if you can do that either. i remeber back before service pack 2 i was able to find shares and stuff of peoples computers on the internet lol

any ideas or tips?

VPN into PC that is sharing the printer? Hamachi would do it?

ok vpn it is then lol.. i cant find any other way lol. i could setup internet connection sharing on the server and do it that way but its pointless so ill just grab hamachi lol .. should have just done that from the start haha.

works ok tho you have to wait like 2 mins for it send the pic from pc to server then printer lol
