What GTA IV should of been in my book

still no joy? Have you tried Verifly integrity of game cache? (Right Click game, properties, local files tab, Verifly integrity of game cache)

It won't be dodgey files if you have tried three downloads and verified integrity. I'l guess its more of a hardware / software compatibility issue.

I suggest posting on the Saints Row 2 section on the Steampowered forums with as much information as you can possably post about the problem and exactly what happens.

Then Copy Paste that post into the steam support system. The steam support system is diabolical for responding to things quickly, but they do respond eventually.

That will probably yield you better results than just constantly redownloading the same files.

Let us know how it works out.

It might be something to do with that piece of hardware in your pc. You know, the one that has the ATi branding on it =P

Sucks you're having problems Alice, i also took advantage of the cheapness so if you don't get it working before the BL event then i'm sure we can hack something together for ya

There is nowt wrong with ATI... infact they are producing much better cards than nVidia at the moment.

I'm needing a new card.... cause i'm not building a new rig to gain 10-15% performance increase over my C2DUO 6850!

Mouth is watering over a GTX285.... but.... can someone recommend me an ATI card for comparison thats cheaper? :)

Currently running a BFG 8800GTX OC2 and I game at 1920 * 1200
