Apparently Sim City UK is a fan page and isn't controlled by EA

Two of my friends have bought it and love it. There are some features in it that I personally would have liked to seen, that can be found in all the other sim city type games (like map size?).. but I think the large amount of server issues has led to undeserved pre-hate.

Commiserations to the developer Maxis; Shame on the publisher... It's another example of how EA just can't publish their games very well.. THEY HAVE ONE JOB..

Im sure its probably a good game i guess the combo of drm people dont want and the gigantic failure of servers and the handling of said incident is causing all the hate
Also the fact that the cities seem to be tiny isn't helping either

have a look on youtube for "simcity AI" (i cant link things for some reason) and look at the AI

Apparently noone owns a house, you just go to the closest place of rest and stay there for the night...
Apparently no one has a perminant job, going to the closest avaiable workplace...
