You should check it out. its like micro blogging, or mass texting, its free to receive peoples updates and just cost a normal text to update your own profile.
Think if you in town, you could just send an update and it goes to all your friends (followers) and saves you money and time testing lots of people.
Some people might find it useless, but its can be interesting to find out what others are up to, and cool for letting people know what your up to or want to tell people something.
