Weird Problems with Frame Rates

Lo all,

Perhaps you lot can think of something i cant.

Now, in a 25 man raid in ICC (World of Warcraft), i drop down to less than 5 fps. I've also changed ALL the graphics settins to low or off.

I've checked drivers, reinstalled the OS, moved to windows 7 x64 from xp x86.

I've litterly tried everything i can think of. Yet, people with pc's half the spec of mine can sit at 60 fps in there.

Any ideas?

Brand new install combined with most up to date drivers presumeably.

Does this occur in any other games ?

It happens wether i'm on XP or 7. With brand new drivers, or with drivers that a version or two old. Thats why i doubt its drivers.

not to sound to dumb but can it maybe do with the net connection?

also m8 said to disable addons and try if you use any addons.

Nothing to do with my net connection....

As for addons, i've started raiding "bare". Raid frames and CT_Core only. Same problem.

Also done the usal, integrity check, defragged, deleted "WTF".

what are your framerates like in other places, e.g. dalaran?

Also, have a try running it in windowed mode, with a lower res than normal (I would use 1450*900 iirc, the lowest 16:10 res), see what kinda fps you get there

I run in Window'd mode full screen. 1920x1200 is meh rez. As for dala, around 60.
