Windows 8 - who did it?

Since the last BreachLAN ive moved to Win8 and im wondering..... has anyone else made such move or will i be the only one at the next lan with it ???

Windows 7 is doing me fine, I've not seen a need to upgrade to be honest. I'm not averse to it, I just don't see anything new that W8 will bring to what I already have.

I have it installed on my laptop and a copy sitting on my desk - Not sure if I will install it before lan though.

heres food to thought.... my win7 machine had 2x560Ti in SLi in it. I moved to w8 and kept the cards. Ive now gone and changed my gfx cards to a single gtx680. I have benched from 3dmark03 to 3dmark11 and compared the scores:

3DMARK 11 = P9084 w8 (+774 w8 +264 w7)
3DMARK VA = 28836 w8 (+619 w8, -7355 w7)
3DMARK 06 = 20701 w8 (+1042 w8, -6220 w7)
3DMARK 05 = 30108 w8 (+8227 w8, -4457 w7)
3DMARK 03 = 98930 w8 (-165 w8, -19696 w7)

where above is bench in gtx680, win8 vs 560Ti SLi in w8, GTX680 w8 vs 560Ti Sli W7.

shocking results like....... i might just be going back to windows 7 after the lan then.
