If it turns out to be reasonably priced and capable of running all my LAN games then I'l be having one to save me the hassle of taking my full machine. You are right though. It is too early.

Isn't there something that steam is already available on.....something where you can do this already......can't think what it's called.

Depending on price point I can see it being much easier to transport to LAN than the full tower. But it depends on price, performance, compatibility. Lot of things to consider.
