Ubuntu - there are things like "Play on linux" and cedega which may help you out. Basically you want to install the game using Wine. It should be pretty straight forward to install and get it to run using Wine. Have a look on the Ubuntu forums :) What model of SSD do you have? I got a Vertex 2...

Just the same, it's the same width, just you lose expansion slots, you will get 1 PCI-E 16X for a graphics card and maybe a PCI or a PCI-E 1x for expansion Standard components fit and I built a good LAN rig for under £500 too. Way cheaper than a gaming laptop!
