Games are nowhere near the most ram hogs out there.

Most people only have >8GB RAM because it's so cheap really. You can get some decent 2x 8GB 1600MHx kits for about £60 these days. But if all your doing is playing games it's too much overkill. You only need more if you happen to be running a server *cough*Minecraft*cough* or into heavy video...

More ram would make little difference tbh.

Actually from the information I've read so far it's an integrated graphics i.e. non interchangable - I'd only revise my opinion if that's changed to a modular form making it upgradable. In anycase it would still be cheaper to build a small form factor pc to work in the same capacity.
