Folks.
In about two weeks I'm going to start planning the stage setup for the next LAN. That is, what computers, lights, monitors, projectors, amplifiers and speakers that I'm taking to the LAN and how they are going to be laid out on the stage.
At the end of last week I got a PM from SocksFoHands. Saying that he had a donation to give to BreachLAN.
A massive (and I do genuinely mean, MASSIVE) flatscreen TV which was no longer being used and he has no space for. I went out and picked it up yesterday.
This thing is absolutely gorgeous. It's huge. The screen is amazing, the colours are lovely, clear and bright, and the entire thing looks absolutely gorgeous.
So good in fact, that I've decided already that this screen is going to be the centre piece for the entire setup. And just so you can get a taste of what to expect I'l be posting a picture of this new screen shortly.
In conclusion.
1) As usual for a 72hr LAN, the full stage setup will be there. With all the coloured floodlights and quality deep bass background music you have come to expect.
2) I am currently seeking out someone to volunteer to loan us their Xbox360 for the event. I'm also looking for anyone who can bring along DJ Hero / Rock Band / Guitar Hero etc stuff for use on our nice new screen and projectors.
3) SocksFoHands is a very awesome chap who will frequently be thirsty at BreachLAN and in constant need of alcoholic liquid refreshment.
That is all.
