The Grados leak sound like there's no tomorrow. So you better be prepared for people asking you to turn it down, however they probably sound the best, The HD 448s are reasonably comfortable and the Sound is tight, detailed and punchy. The Sonys are uncomfortable and don't sound as good as either Sennheisers, The 380s are astonishingly comfortable and fantastic if in a quite room but are no good for portable. They work best with a proper amp.

What are they to be used for? (setting wise, before anyone says Listening to music)

Basically I want the best headphones, that can still be powered by an iPod. They need to be durable enough that I can travel with them, prefrably not munt ugly but good enough quality that when I am athome/ork I can really enjoy the music. Also decided on closed back due to leakage, so no Grados (even though I got offered the SR80i's for 86 quid)

Thinking about getting these maybe :/

I'l have a word with Atmosphere tomorrow to see what they have for around your price range. Their range of headphones is pretty good and they have quite a few models that are great for noise cancelling, sound and build quality.
