Crazy Idea?

So here I am, thinking and plotting [as usual]

Would it be crazy to make a 32 disk capacity file server?

So yes, indeed, 32 disks in one box.

xD A Crazy Cheesewheel Project has been born.

I shall post stuff about it here and whether it turns out to be fairly easy or a total ball ache.

Close Enough xD but actually its a lot more energy efficient than you might think!

Simple answer, Both!

Additional, 32 disks is my Starting Capacity, I can quite easily add upto a total of 192 Disks on the existing plan, just needs More Housings! I an Also Double it if I desired, but I doubt I need that much xD

Add more internal disk storage racks - 16 removable
PSU Controlled by Core Box
Disk Controller Cards
Capacity 32 Disks
Change Airflow design for decent positive pressure.
