Same with my LAN pc (bloody ram, needs money thrown at it, lucky to get it going for the new breach...)

Keeps freezing up when gaming, have to reset it to come back on. Updated everything I can think of drivers, SSD firmware, BIOS etc. Got a new cooler to install to try and take temps down a bit but not sure if high temps is the problem as it crashed while playing WoW and the temps were only about mid 40's - 50's. As the thread below says I've just ran Furmark for an hour with the card getting to 80 degrees and it hasn't frozen. Gonna give Prime95 another bash to see what happens.

Link to my pc failings

Sounds similar to my problems. Every bit of driver software is up to date yet I'm plagued with inexplicable CTD's and BSOD's. Damn thing just has gremlins in it I think.

Dave might actually have been the closest out of everybody I've spoken to yet. Did a little research on RAM timings and it seems a lot of people have had trouble running RAM at 1600MHz even if the RAM is rated for it. I dropped the RAM down to 1333 in the bios and Prime95 has now been running for over 40 minutes without a freeze.

I don't know why this should be as the RAM is rated for 1600 @ 1.65v. I've got it running at 1333 @ 1.5V - If this does turn out to be the problem then I might just keep the other 4GB I got which is 1333 too and run 8GB in the system.

Hopefully that has your pc sorted for this weekend (may have a backup but its not great....)

Just tested the hardware and it seems to be ok, just that damn switch is louder than my pc...

Just wondering if anyone is taking their chairs with them as I trying to get everyone on one table this time and they won't help.

I was gonna take my new one but I'm not fussed really, your chairs are comfortable enough for me.
