Hi Guys.
I am pleased to report, that after two months, our corp is still going well.
I am very pleased that we are still going at all. I had visions of most people being totally overwhelmed with the volume of information and effort that EvE requires and the corp dwindling down to nothing. But we are still going strong and that is somethign we can be proud of.
We have come a long way. And now things are starting to take shape, we need to take a step back, take a look at where we all are and where we want to be.
What I mean by that is, we have all set our sights on what ships we want to be flying soon. Wheather this be Hulks, Charons, Orcas or otherwise.
The thing these ships have in common, is they are all riddiculously expensive. And all require very expensive skillbooks to get the skills required to fly them propperly.
And if everybody is training for the same skills then we are going to waste a lot of time and money having 20 people who are flying 900 Million ISK freighters but nobody to fly the Hulks required to fill them up.
What I am proposing is that we all take a step back, examine what skills we all currrently have, what roles we want to fulfill, and accordingly we assign skills to each person to train so we have a variety of pilots amongst us capable of flying everything we need to become an unstoppable strip mining machine.
For now, we require people to fulfill the following roles.
1) Hulk Pilots - Capable of using T2 Strip Mining Crystals and T2 Mining Laser Upgrades. We require as many of these pilots as we can get and this should be the first objective of every industrial pilot in our corporation.
2) Orca Pilots - Capable of having other ships dock at it, it is designed and capable of being a mini capital ship. While I also believe this ship will allow us to be able to create jump clones although I am unsure exactly what the Orca is capable of.
As a corporation, we will be buying one of these for two pilots to have access to. Currently, Dex is the first pilot to express an intrest in piloting an Orca for us. If you would like to be the other then please contact Dex ASAP to discuss skill training. As Industrial Manager he will have the final say on who the other pilot should be. The corp will buy the ship and all the fittings. The player will be required to buy the skillbooks.
3) Charon Pilots - An absolutely massive ship designed purely to haul as much stuff as possable from A to B. We will be aiming to buy one of these ships to be used by three pilots. Currently, Castiana has expressed an intrest in piloting a Charon for us and I would like to be the other. Pending approval from Dex we do not require any more characters to train for this ship at this time.
4) Perfect Refiners - We require players who have exeptional refining skills to minimise waste and maximise profit. We need three players who would maximise their mining and refining.
The corp will pay for all the skillbooks required for successful applicants. Contact Dex ASAP if you would like to become one of these refiners.
Thats all for now. This post will be updated with more information should any more categories of pilot be required.
Thank you for reading.
