Not sure on MW3 ?

after playing this im undecided on whether i like it or not to start with i was liek " coooooooooool" but now after going through the single player again but on hardest setting im not too sure graphics i would rate 7/10 there is still room for improvements although i liked the fact that when i blew someone up they went flying in the air. what i like the most is the weapons and there attention to detail as i have used some of these in real life i can safely say there is not a difference between them and if there is only the trained eye would noitce. but what i like most about the game is the fact that if u double tap in the center mass the target goes down like it should lol might sound a bit sad but i like a weapon to do what it is suppose to do. I WOULD NOT recommend MW3 for single player action cause it is far too short but as far as multiplay i really enjoy it as you can no longer camp

It looks like one of those games to pick up in the steam sale to me. Graphics still look like MW1/2 which tbh isnt a bad thing but BF3 still looks like the better multi player experience. As I havent played MW3 yet this is totally based on reviews and screenshots. I think my next purchase will be Skyrim though.

I'm disapointed with it to be honest.

I went in with my eyes wide open. Pretty much knowing EXACTLY what to expect.

Single player will be completely insane. With a plot taken from the pages of "how the hell do they expect us to believe that and "where the hell did all those guys come from"

And this is exactly what I got. The plot and story is absolutely completely insane and the number of bad guys puts it on a par with Serious Sam.

Multiplayer, my predictions are for the game to be similarly crazy for certain game modes but once I pin down a game mode I like it will be a decent enough shooter.

From what I've read the "dedicated servers" are an absolute bloody joke. With GSP's pretty much giving up on it, it's that bad. With any luck we can have one working for Breach but im not entirely optimistic.

I'm torn between wanting to hear more and wanting to avoid spoilers...

Having just watched that vid it does sound pretty disappointing. Not only are aim botters apparently already in there on day one the obvious reason why such things exist at launch is because the game must be functionally identical to MW2... That in turn raises the question of why I'm paying full whack for what is essentially an expansion pack for MW2.

So the multiplayer is ruled out right off the bat. Everyone else is saying the single player is damn short and it's impossible to pick this game up for less than £30 (alright 28 in some places, but lets not split hairs) so I may well end up giving this a miss for the foreseeable future.

Their tarded pricing is even more frustrating bearing in mind right now I could easily pick up BF3 for about £20 (FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU ORIGIN WHY MUST YOU TEMPT ME). About the only thing that could change my mind is if I had a shot of someones MW3 at breach and loved it for the single player as I loved MW2.

I love the single player however ridiculously short it is. the story is awesome, however retardedly difficult it appears to be

Oh I think I would like the single player too. It sounds like it's just more of the same and I did like MW2 a lot. I just don't see me getting £30 worth of play out of it. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here because I'd love to be. Even if it just had something else cool like the co-op special missions the last one had.

As I only play it on an xbox that cannot be connected to the internet, I'll not be able to answer that one for you. I've played the single player for 3 2-hour sessions on hardened Mode and I've nearly completed it. As good as the story line is and all the cool things you can do, unless you're going to spend hours upon hours on online multiplayer, I would not say that it was worth £30.

With BF3, however, the single player is poop (although graphically astonishing). It's the multiplayer with is worth more than they charge. Think BF2 with all the best bit of BF:BC2 thrown in.

Hey if it was just a question of the game I'd buy BF3 right now but my problems with origin have been hashed over before so there's no need to repeat them here. I guess the bottom line is with money as tight as it is right now I can't justify paying full retail for a game unless it's something really really special. :(

it has the same features as mw2 where u can play some of the challenges as a co-op im still 50/50 with this game as it has its pros and cons but they seem to balance out in the end
