Currently running a BFG 8800GTX OC2 and I game at 1920 * 1200

Probably a bit below the spec you are wanting but i've currently got an ATI 1Gb 4850HD, previously i had and SLi setup with 2 8800GTX's (256Mb versions) and this card just blew them out of the water, was beyond amazed at how well this cheap card performs. Think you can nab one for around the £100 mark these days

But IMO, go for the more expensive kit and future proof yourself a little bit

I gots the HIS 4870 1GB. But due to my budget 19" I run everything at the max 1280x1024. It's a great card and handles every game I've thrown at it so far, including Crysis at MAX settings DX10 and 64bit mode.... Which, as i remember, I made you see for your self when you were down here.

Furture proofing, yeah, would be nice to see how the phenom X4's bench against the C2 Duo 6850 - can anyone help me here? As I don't fancy the £LOL price tag of the intel chips....
