For those new folks joining the corp, once it's set up, one of the most important things is to get the Salvaging skill trained as soon as possible. It gives an extra revenue of income whilst doing missions as you salvage the wrecks of the drones/ships that you destroy and then sell those parts on the market. Whilst prices vary greatly, you will normally make an extra couple of million out of the salvage from four or five level 1 missions.

Best strat for this is to have just one character per op who is salvaging. He follows everyone around salvaging everything.
It's certainly not a most imporant thing to be honest. It's barely even on the top 20 list of important things. for new players, although you need all the cash you can, you also need all the guns you can.
