Some pretty cool stuff goes up occasionally, and since entry to each draw is free, why wouldn't you use them? Each entry normally has a 1/3000 chance of getting you a game, so while the odds are still low, I think they're still worth the effort.
I'm currently giving two copies of Super Hexagon away, so that my contributor level increases slightly (some giveraways are contributor exclusive). 8 hours left to enter. (currently at 1/700 chance

You can also lock giveaways so that only specific steam groups can enter, so you can make it so only people in the Breachlan group can enter for example.
Also: You may notice Metro 2033 is being given away by everyone and their nan. This is because the Metro 2033 facebook page is giving away free keys to anyone that "likes" them. For those that don't want to buy the THQBundle.
