When did they say you needed that to play online? was pretty sure it was still the same setup.

But yeah neither of my games that I wanted were released, however I am excited for trial fusion, bungies game and indie stuff (octodad won that conference).

Oh and £349, much better :p

It does however look like Sony will be charging a subscription to be able to play online.

It was actually mentioned in the conference with the words advertising PS+ Play Multi-player games [...] For less than $5 a months.
That video I posted earlier also says it outright in the small print.

**PS4 multi-player online access requires a PlayStation Network account with PS Plus Subscription.
