I'd second Magicka and Terraria. Artemis will be hard to track down before Breach20, but I've got the 63Mb installer so shouldn't be a problem - can just USB it to people on the night. It will be entertaining to hear the Captains bellowing across the hall in their various ridiculous accents.

Why not just set a cut off date a few days/a week in advance of the event? - your game must be up to date until the specified time, then you right click the game > Properties > Updates > Do not update this game. I've never set a game to not update, so I don't know if this would work or not.
