I've never played mafia but I've heard its quite similar, i'm just hoping for a good couple of games of werewolves 
the first game is likely to be a bit slow if there's lots of people who haven't played before, but after that it should pick up quite quickly as people understand how it works and i can put more roles in, and maybe even play some of the variations from the expansion if people are up for it ^_^
