Nope. just a regular Ole 400GB WD SATA. but i swear to god it took no longer than about 15 minutes.

It copied and unpacked the files and finished "setting up the System" in around 10 minutes then it took 5 minutes to go through the self setup (language, date, time, networking ETC.) rebooted and it was done. that's the 64bit version too. It is Home edition as well. My copy of XP took about the same time.

See kev your drives aint that fast lol

its weird.... my vista 64 bit ultimate takes about 45 mins to install to 2x 1tb samsung F1 spinpoints in raid 0, so i thought win 7 going in at 15mins was due to the ssd's i have in raid 0...... dammit madman - you spoilt my fun i had lol

screw you zeroG, ordered mine from amazon and both got posted o nthe same day and yet mine didnt arrive the same day his did!
and since the strike, i probably wont get it until monday.

Amazon aren't actually using the Royal Mail atm, it arrived via someone called Citi something I forget the name so you should get it today at the latest I would have thought.

i have baught a new system from ocuk but im pissed off at ocuk right now as there so slow at getting stock :(

only problem i had installing windows 7 is that it wont let you install straight from xp and i had to move my programs and files to an non-exsitant external hard drive
