Eh? gold farming?

well there is ebay but i wouldn't expect to get more than about £70 for it .. and having shopped around i'm only a cheap cpu + mobo away from having a machine to put it in.. so i may go down that route.

any takers? if i don't shift it i might just build a pc for it to sit in :/

Chojin is still about, occasionally talk to him on msn. He's been playing wow/war but not that often and i can't remember if he's back in montrose but he had a stint around castlegate in aberdeen for a while.

it is.. but its not like the games change particularly much. when it comes to games people only really play at lans i tend to do quite well, quake 3 is a prime example of that. Pretty sure it was my run of kills and flag cap that ended the torturous insta CTF game :P

hehe. well maybe i'll take part next time. usually its harder to not hit people when there is that many people in an instagib server on a map like that. o_O

First of all i should point out that i did enjoy my weekend at the lan :). But might aswell put forward some opinions since it is being asked of us. Some more structured team games would have been fun, a lot of the time it seemed like nobody really knew what to play and if a game did get...

Same sort of feelings here madman :) However, after the free for all carnage that was Cod4 (which i somehow came top on) i wasn't too keen on the big "clusterf**k" gaming where its not really down to how well you can move and aim and more about luck in where you spawn and how many people are...

Was a good weekend. Felt it could have done with trying to get people into big games but its never going to be an easy task. And people not taking the piss with rock band / guitar hero late at night :P

I like to get the best i can for a sensible price. You pay a stupid premium to get the top end CPU/graphics card for an extra 5-10% performance which at the end of the day is pointless, might aswell pocket the cash and upgrade in a year or so.

Don't see anything saying that on the website, you'll have to show where it is hiding ;) :rolleyes: just kidding of course, since i blend into the background easily :D

I'm not that daft :P i've always been on top of what programs run on startup editing as required with msconfig and even before that with windows 98 :s I just blame vista for being rubbish. It should boot as fast as the xbox.. even if that got slower.

My pc takes a fair time to start up, no matter how fast the cpu is.
